Hi, my name is Mark Edmondson and I’m the founder of Positive Vibes Only.

PVO offers easily accessible support to anyone who is facing adversity. I work closely with you to produce an individually tailored plan to help you to live a fulfilling and positive life.

Put simply, through open and friendly discussions, I provide the necessary support. Support that helps to empower you, provide positivity and give you hope for the future.

When I say I can help to make a difference to your life, I mean it.

Positive Vibes Only is dedicated to empowering people to live positively, despite the many challenges that we face every day.

How can PVO help?

These days learning to live positively can be hard. From the macro to the micro, it often feels like the world is against us.

PVO uses simple, yet highly effective, strategies to redress our outlook on ourselves, our relationships and all of the challenges we face in life.

So, why am I best placed to help you?

That’s what I faced in early 2017, after being told I had stage 4 cancer. At the age of 35, my life was turned upside down.

Whilst I still live with cancer, my perspective on life has completely changed and as a result, I live with greater joy and appreciate what my life still offers me. That’s not to say I haven’t suffered and experienced dark times and moments. I have, many of them… but I try and learn from them, feel the negative emotions and move forward.

I’ve benefitted from therapy and learnt to talk much more to my friends and family. Modern society still encourages us to be brave, to stand up to our challenges, internalise them or “just deal with it!”

Nothing prepares you for being told you have less than a year to live...
— Mark Edmondson

My aim is to remove that notion, to utilise professional help, talk to friends and work through those feelings, some which I had buried away for decades. My therapist, who has supported me over the last six years, has been an incredible help and allowed me to feel comfortable expressing myself to be more honest and release a lot of the built-up emotion.

I’m not perfect and I still find moments when I revert back to the old me, or my social conditioning still prevents me from communicating effectively… but I’m now aware of that and I can apologise, explain and move on.

By talking, I’ve released resentment, anger, frustration and many other negative emotions.

I’ve had hard conversations with people and challenged myself to face up to the previous status quo and change it… to allow people to see who I really am. So how can my experience and my understanding of therapy, mental modelling and mindset help you?

"It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that defines you." (Epictetus)

Changing the way we talk…

#LETSTALK

I want to change the way we talk to each other.  By the time we reach adulthood, 99.9% of people have suffered some variation of trauma, minor, major or indirect trauma.

I grew up with someone close to me suffering with clinical depression, nearly lost my second child to a premature birth and was diagnosed with cancer. Everyone I know has endured something that has impacted how they view life, experienced heartache, loss, hurt, societal pressure, and managed and dealt with negative emotions such as shame and guilt.

PVO’s specially tailored service isn’t just for major trauma; it’s for everyone and everyone has a right to help and support.

You can find out how I plan to help you by clicking here - ‘The PVO Process’

But the start of that journey is talking… so, let’s have a chat.
